We’re laying the groundwork for tools that’ll help teams improve their coordination; in the meantime, we shipped new updates for Quick Fill templates, Echoes, and more. Read on for details.

The goal template editor in Steady

⚡️ Shared Quick Fill templates

Last month, we shipped Quick Fill templates for Live goals that make it faster & easier to stand up new goals and write goal updates. Hot on the heels, we’ve rolled out shared Quick Fill templates that let any Steady admin can create and edit templates that the entire account can use. So if you use a specific goal methodology, or prefer goal updates in a certain format, shared templates are for you.

Admins - you can edit shared templates here.

📅  Sync holidays from a company calendar

Individuals have been able to sync personal absences from a Google or Microsoft calendar for a while now, but setting account-wide holidays have been a manual affair. Until now, that is. Now, admins can connect Steady to their company holiday calendar, and Steady will take it from there, setting account-wide planned absences automatically.

Admins - you can connect your holiday calendars here.

🔊 Enhanced Echoes for Jira & Linear

Now, Jira and Linear issue descriptions are available in Echoes, which means you can now run richer Echoes that summarize the content in various ways, not just titles. And for Jira, Echoes is aware of projects and project categories, so you can run Echoes like “summarize all the Jira issues from the last 7 days for [project name]”.

If you want to try out the new capabilities, you can create new Echoes here.

📈 Participation streaks & improved Insights reports

In preparation for some upcoming features (more on this soon), we shipped a batch of participation-related improvements in Steady. In addition to tracking streaks of intentions met, Steady now tracks participation streaks for check-ins and goals. You’ll already see those streaks showing up in check-in and goal update reminders.

We’ve also improved how we track goal participation so that it behaves more like check-in participation, and split check-in and goal participation into two separate Insights reports so that it’s easier to understand what’s driving high/low participation.
