About Steady
Modern work is broken – meetings, distractions, data digging, toil – and we’re here to fix it. We’re building the coordination layer for modern teams. Steady runs in the background, distilling plans and progress from tools, teams, and people into personalized context that keeps everyone aligned automatically. We’re creating a new category – Continuous Coordination – and need someone who can peel off high-value leads from our PLG pipeline and close deals.
The Role
You’ll own the full sales cycle: qualifying inbound leads from content and partnerships, running demos, navigating technical buyers, and closing deals. You’ll work closely with our founding team to turn pipeline into revenue.
This is an early-stage role. You’ll help shape our sales process, refine our pitch based on what resonates, and prove out the sales GTM motion. If you need a defined playbook and established infrastructure, this isn’t the role. If you want to build that playbook, keep reading.
What You’ll Do
- Qualify and close inbound pipeline from content marketing and BD partnerships
- Run product demos for technical buyers (engineering leads, VPs of Product, CTOs)
- Navigate deals with multiple stakeholders in distributed software teams
- Work with founder to refine messaging, pricing objections, and competitive positioning
- Help activate BD partnerships into qualified pipeline
- Report on pipeline health, conversion rates, and what’s working (we dogfood our own product)
You’re a Fit If
- You’ve closed B2B SaaS deals in the $10K-50K range
- You understand technical buyers and can speak their language
- You’re comfortable operating without a sales playbook (because you’ll help write it)
- You can demo software that requires some technical context (APIs, integrations, workflows)
- You’re energized by early-stage ambiguity, not paralyzed by it
- You’re productive in a remote, async-first environment
