Freelance Writer/Editor

Part-time, U.S.-based remote

Our small remote-first company, Steady Space Corporation, builds and maintains a cloud-based web application called Steady. Steady is a B2B SaaS tool that helps distributed tech organizations track their goals and stay in sync.

We’re looking for an experienced freelance business writer/editor to work remotely with our leadership team part-time, around 10-20 hours per week.

We produce a fair bit of ongoing content for our blog, social media channels, and weekly newsletter, Everyone is Typing. Most of this content is centered around modern work and the future of work. We need help keeping up with it all. Sometimes we also need editing help with product feature announcements, sales materials, knowledge-base articles, and other written content.

In all cases, we’ll provide lots of input for writing and editing assignments, including topics, outlines, articles, reference material, imagery, and voice-and-tone guides.

We’re interested in quality writing that uniquely connects our point of view to our audience through lively storytelling. The role will require novel writing that the current crop of AI machinery can’t produce.

We pay at-market or above-market rates. It will depend mostly on your experience level. We’re also open to turning the role into a full-time one as our company grows.
