Today is AI Community Day at the Project Management Institute — a full day dedicated to exploring how the intersection of artificial intelligence and project management is transforming the profession.
As a member of PMI, it was my pleasure to co-host one of today’s on-demand webinars: Context Is the New KPI: Agentic AI and the End of Coordination Chaos.
Together with PMI’s Kathleen Walch and John Johnson from the University of Maryland, we unpack the coordination crisis, why context is so crucial in modern project management, and how to use GenAI right now to reduce drudgery on project teams. We also demystify agentic AI and how to prepare for it.
Most importantly, we highlight how AI is a net job creator, because efficiency gains are reinvested in AI jobs for competitive advantage and growth. We explore what the future of teams will look like with the “Shared Brain” model — where project managers become the “Context Brokers” for human-machine teams.
Bonus: if you’re a PMI member, this and the other AI Community Day events are great opportunities to earn PDUs. 🌟
