Weekly brief

The whole week ahead in one place

Overview

Monday morning shouldn’t begin with an hour of assembling context from five different places. This preset delivers the whole picture in one brief: last week’s themes, this week’s plans, upcoming deadlines, and who’s away.

What this is for

This preset solves the Monday reassembly problem. The context you need to start the week well is scattered across check-ins, goal pages, calendars, and your own half-remembered notes from Friday. By the time you’ve gathered it, the morning is gone, and most weeks you skip the gathering and just react instead.

The Weekly brief preset compiles it all before you sit down: a thematic summary of last week’s progress across every team, the intentions that are still outstanding from last week, goals coming due in the next 30 days, and this week’s absences. It’s the standing Monday meeting you never have to attend.

Who should use this

Department heads and executives who oversee multiple teams and need the week’s shape without scheduling a status meeting to get it. You’ll start Monday with the full org picture.

Managers who plan their week deliberately rather than letting the inbox decide. You’ll see deadlines and capacity up front and can allocate your attention accordingly.

Anyone who runs a weekly planning ritual and wants it grounded in real data. You’ll replace “what was everyone doing again?” with an agenda that writes itself.

The prompt

Give me a weekly brief: summarize last week's progress across all teams in 3-5 themes, list any intentions from last week that are still outstanding, list goals due in the next 30 days, and note who will be out this week.
