Welcome to Steady, the lightweight teamwork OS that keeps people and agents aligned automatically.

Steady runs the two coordination loops every team relies on:

  • The ground-level loop keeps teammates — human and agent — in sync day to day, through lightweight smart check-ins.
  • The big-picture loop connects plans to progress, through goal stories and goal story updates.

Echoes run on top of both: AI agents that answer your recurring questions — "What goals are slipping?", "What did the Ops team ship last week?" — on a schedule, pulling from check-ins, goals, and your connected tools.

Getting started is just getting both loops flowing, then putting Echoes to work on top. Find yourself below and jump in.

Setting up your organization's account?

You're in the right section. These steps connect the plumbing that feeds both loops — work through them in order; each one links to the next:

  1. Set up integrations — connect Slack or Teams, plus tools like GitHub, Jira, and Linear, so activity flows into the loops automatically
  2. Add teams — including each team's check-in days, which set the rhythm of the ground-level loop
  3. Add people to teams
  4. Customize account settings
  5. Add secondary admins — you don't have to run this alone
  6. Set up SSO — SAML single sign-on and SCIM provisioning via Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, and more

Leading a team and ready to get the loops going?

Once the account is set up, this is the order of operations:

  1. Start the ground-level loop — your team's smart check-ins begin flowing on the days you chose. AI drafts and reminders keep the friction low.
  2. Start the big-picture loop — add your team's goals and let goal stories connect plans to progress automatically.
  3. Watch them come together — the digest delivers personalized intelligence from both loops to everyone, right where they work.
  4. Put Echoes on top — set up Echoes to answer your recurring questions automatically, or browse ready-made presets for inspiration.

A contributor on a team?

Once you're invited, in-app onboarding walks you through your first check-in — there's nothing you need to read first. When you want to go deeper, the Steady for Contributors guide covers how Steady works day to day. Admins and managers: feel free to share it with your team.

Working with AI agents?

Steady integrates with all kinds of personal assistants through its MCP server and API — bring the context from both loops into the tools where you already work. And coming very soon: agents that check in on their own, participating in the loops right alongside people.

How do I subscribe or get licenses?

There are no licenses to manage and no plan tiers — Steady runs on credits. A credit is spent each time Steady delivers context to you or someone on your team in their feed. You get credits to start, plus bonus credits every time you add people. When you run out, you'll be prompted to enroll in a subscription for credit packs. Every feature is fully available to every user, always — see pricing for details.
